H-E-B CUTS RIBBON ON LA GRANGE STORE MAKEOVER
New additions include 10,000 additional square feet and Floral Department

LA GRANGE, TX -- H-E-B is pleased to announce a fresh, new look after extensive remodeling at its store located at 450 E. Travis Street in La Grange, TX. To celebrate, there will be a check presentation to the Czech Heritage Museum for $25,000 at the store’s ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 30 at 10 a.m.

Some of the store updates include 10,000 more square feet of floor space with wider aisles, featuring a new Floral department and an expanded Pharmacy with a private counseling room. There will also be a wide assortment of gluten-free items to meet the nutritional needs of the community.

“We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to store design and construction, and this store demonstrates our commitment to creating something special here in La Grange,” said Leslie Lockett, director of Public Affairs, H-E-B Central Texas. “We listened to what our customers wanted while renovating this store, and everything from its new design to its fresh offerings was specifically tailored to meet the needs and desires of this community.”

Along with expanded Dairy, Frozen Food and Meat departments, the store will boast a larger Produce department that offers organic options; an expanded Drugstore/General Merchandise department with an increased cosmetics assortment; and a larger Bakery/Deli department featuring rotisserie chickens and beautiful ready-made cakes.
