Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gives us an exclusive look at her essentials.
“I launched the Rose Inc. content platform in 2018 after nearly a year of working on it behind the scenes. For me, it was all about building a community around beauty, consolidating my authority within the industry and trying to convey my passion to my audience. I always knew I wanted to create a brand A beauty brand for skincare and makeup and it’s exciting to finally see it in the world. We think of Rose Inc as being “clear” versus just “clean”. Our site has all the minute details of every ingredient we use and complete packaging breakdowns of our eco-friendly materials and how to recycle them We also have clinical trials on all of our products, which have been very challenging, but really rewarding.”
“Byredo Gypsy Water ($190) is my go-to fragrance because it’s so easy to wear. It’s not overtly feminine or floral, or tyrannical, so I’d probably be someone to shy away from this stuff. But while I was pregnant [Whiteley is due with her second child in February]In fact, I’ve never worn that much perfume. I usually wear it every day. It’s kind of like part of getting dressed. But during the first trimester of my pregnancy, the scents were overwhelming to me. I also love Ma Jason [her husband, Jason Statham] She wears—I think it’s Terra’D by Hèrmes ($126).”
“Our Rose Inc. Blush Divine Radiant Lip and Cheek Color ($30) and Softlight LuminousHydrating Concealer ($30) are our best sellers so far, which I’ve come to expect. Heliotrope is my favorite shade of everyday blush because it Lighter shades with more bronze.I flip between that and azalea, ophelia, fox glove.Concealer is a really flexible formula, and one thing I’ve discovered is that people with very uneven skin wear the same color. It’s interesting because we decided to create shades based on undertones,so it doesn’t It not only helps people define the shade, it makes the shades themselves more flexible as well. I’m switching between the LX40 and the LX60, and when I’m really tan I might use the LX70. We plan to add new shades for both products next year as well.”
I’ve always known I wanted to create a beauty brand, and it’s exciting to finally see it in the world.
“I love Chanel Le Crème Main ($50) for two reasons: First of all, this egg shape! I think it’s one of the most popular products of the past few years. I know we’ve all seen it on social media, but I don’t think it was lauded.” Really the way it should be. It’s a clever design, not only because it’s Instagram-worthy, but also because it fits very comfortably in your hand. Second, I like the equation. I generally don’t like hand lotions – I don’t like having sticky hands or Wet;it actually makes me feel filthy – but this one is very light and quick to absorb.I keep one on my nightstand and one in my purse.
“You have to try the Costa Brazil Jungle Firming Oil ($98)! It has turned out to be a great product and I love to smooth it out on my skin—I was rubbing it on my stomach this morning at 5 a.m. I don’t think any body oil will prevent stretch marks by any means, but I definitely think it is.” The important thing is to keep your skin really hydrated during pregnancy. And I love that moment of contact with your tummy, just rubbing some oil and feeling all the movement inside. It’s so relaxing.I love the smell of this too because it’s so easy and natural. Some people, like my CEO, wear it as a perfume. for them “.
“Although I’m a little pissed off for anything that says ‘Rose’ or ‘Rosie’ on it.” [laughs]I love Chanel’s Le Blanc Rosy Drops ($50) because they’re a great multi-purpose product. You can basically do whatever you want with them. I like to smooth it over my skin before applying foundation or concealer, concentrating it on the highlights of my face to get that beautiful, lit-from-within glow. Sometimes I use it in the middle of the day—a little pump—to freshen up my makeup and rehydrate everything again. You can put it in your foundation or moisturizer, too.”
“I love Nécessaire Deodorant ($20) because it really works. It’s like a cream that comes off when you flip it on and doesn’t leave a trace on your clothes, which is something I fight with a lot, especially being pregnant because it’s all so tight and hard to keep going anyway. “Natural deodorant” where I learned more about the ingredients, but it took time to find one that actually works. I also love the Malin + Goetz ($22) that Jason wears, and I often get that out of his bathroom. I guess the trick with these deodorants does the trick with these deodorants. It’s staying with them for two weeks and then your body adapts and they work.”
